Experimenting With Stripes

WK2_4.jpg

The design for this poster came from a large stripe that I've been working on....a stripe big enough to cover the side of building. I was curious to see how the stripe would work when it was scaled down and repeated in a slightly different way. I kept the screen print colors simple - just black and white. I especially like the poster that has the triangles leftover from last week's prints.

Experimenting With Pattern, Color And Scale

poster1_1.jpg

I have been creating a series of digital posters that explore pattern, color, repetition and scale. Here is one of the posters screen printed on recycled chipboard. While the chartreuse didn't print as bright as I'd have liked on the chipboard base, I think the design has potential. More posters to follow in the coming weeks.
